college life!!!!!!!!!

The two years at ICFAI, Guragon was full of masti and joy only……….
wont ever forget those boring class presentations and lectures, last minute preparations for exams and then rushing to wash room during exams :) :), chatting endlessly in classrooms or library, entering five mins before the class getting over, giving proxies, listening I-Pod in class, sitting in NESCAFE for hours and hours……
Met nice people, made lots of friends, had the time of my life and last but not the least “my first job”...Thank you all!!!!!
It was really wonderful period of my life……….. I really miss each and every moment of college!!!!!! things have changed now no late entry, no music, no Nescafe but 14 students of our college got placed in Capital IQ (the company I am working for) so its fun over here also…and the best feeling is that you are independent now…

Power of blog…..

I am not very sure why I am making this posting because those who read this are already bloggers but still I would love to write something about the power and coverage of a blog….
A software firm organized a Bar Camp (it is like a conference, open and free discussions, anybody can organize it and anybody can attend it and anyone can come can talk and about anything) in Delhi. That camp was more related to technology talks. The event was such a huge success and its hard to believe that they didn’t advertise anywhere about this Bar Camp Delhi. It was only through the blogs of three person that more than 100 people attended that confrence and big companies like Adode were part of that.

This seems so surprising and exiciting also that what not can be done through blogs or internet…… No wonder the world is becoming such a small place!!!!

Men or Women?

Yesterday I went to my cousin’s home. My brother and his wife are working couple. They were having a discussion on role and position of Indian women and men esp. in the middle class group. It was very hot discussion as to whether Indian women are at par with men or not. Is it that men and women are sharing equal responsibilities and work in terms of office and household affairs? Or is it that women are responsible for everything in house??
Even if the women is earning as much as the men is that she is responsible to manage the household affairs, to manage the children, to cook food, to clean the house, to take care of everything? though men argue that they have to do all the outside work (though there is hardly any outside work for which they have to go everyday after office:-}). I was asked to give my viewpoint on the same. I didn’t say anything at that time and even now I am very confused with whether is it that "women are still responsible for everything or is it that society is changing and men and women are equally sharing the entire responsibilities"???? The question remains……

More about office...

hi everyone....
In my last posting I told you a bit about my office. Its around a month that i am working here. We have been assigned different teams here. I am in Mergers & Acquisitions team. My other friends are in different teams. The training period for M&A team is around one and half months but our other friends are on production now. When we joined office, the first thing told by our boss was that training time is actually the honeymoon period when there is no such pressures and responsibilities and only after this real work starts. Our other friends are feeling the same now. Now they have to take up responsibility and deliver their best. We are looking for the same.. Tell you more later……..
