Summers in Delhi

Summers in Delhi is really hot and dry. Mercury touches upto 48-49 degrees Celsius. We can say in the month of May and June, Delhi turns into a pre heated oven- hot enough to bake and even burn the skin! The heat wave is immense and adequate precautions has to be taken before going out in the hot summer afternoon.

Few simple tips that you can follow to beat the heat this summer:

Before stepping out of the house, make sure to apply a good coat of sun screen lotion.
Drink lots of water and other liquids.
Reduce intake of coffee and tea.
Do not overeat.
Avoid food that is fried and oily.
Dress Right!
Carry an umbrella and use a good pair of sunglasses / shades.
Last but not least: Keep your mind Cool. :)

Dilemma Continues...

The elections are round the corner in India and the biggest question that everyone is facing is: whom should we vote? The answer is not that easy (at least for me). And I am sure a lot of people have difficulties in answering this. Is the low polling rates (aprrox. 40% only) is an indication of the fact that people are loosing interest in casting there vote?

Election Commission is making tremendous efforts to conduct the elections properly but is anyone releasing the fact that 60% of the population doesn’t even bother to elect their leader.

Who should be selected as leader: those who get the work done on gun point or those who get work done on the basis of caste of an individual?

I am still not able to find the answer…

After ages...

After ages……
I am writing this blog after approximately 2 years. In this technologically advanced world, a gap of 2 years can mean change in the generation. Now that I am back, this time I will try my best to be an active blogger and keep giving updates on the happenings.

These days I keep myself engaged in my new work and whenever I get time I love watching the IPL series. I love the team KKR and guess why. No not because of Sourav Ganguly or Peterson. Yes because of SRK.. :) but unfortunately this time again the team is not doing very well… But what a nail biting finish in the match between KKR and Rajasthan Royals. Let’s see what happens in the coming days.

Visit to taj mahal…

Last weekend we went to taj mahal.. The trip was really nice esp. taj mahal… its like heaven on earth.. may be i cant express in words so if u wanna see the pics go to www.flickr.com/photos/manyamohan

its a long time that i have made any posting....
these days i so very busy in my office work... got less time to do these things....
this weekend i went to saw a new movie "Chup Chup Ke".. it was a good time pass but the most strange part of the movie is the main songs "Aare aa re" was not there in the movie.. i was waiting since the start of the movie... so anyone goes to watch that be prepared otherwise you will be disappointed like me......
